About DIA Brazil
DIA Brazil is the Digital Implant Association's beginner implant-surgery programme for qualified dentists, taught in English in Brazil.
What DIA is
The Digital Implant Association is a professional community for dentists, with shared learning, case discussion and support beyond the surgical week. Its member-clinic network, shared patient-education content and referral pathway are under development.
The Brazil programme
The proposed programme has 15 founding seats and five supervised live-patient surgery days. It is designed around a minimum of 20 implants personally placed under supervision by each approved clinical participant. Observing and assisting do not count; patient safety, case suitability and participant readiness take priority.
The package includes pre-course preparation, individual assessment, course surgical materials and instruments, daily debriefs, a personal placement log, six nights of accommodation, meals on the five training days and transfers between accommodation and clinic. It also includes practice implementation materials, 12 months of mentorship, reviews of the first 15 suitable home-case plans during that period and six months of DIA membership. Membership continuation is optional; the included mentorship and case reviews remain available for the full 12 months.
Flights, airport transfers, visas, insurance, personal expenses, meals outside training days and equipment for your own practice are excluded.
Participants who complete the clinical programme below 20 placements are offered a further available cohort at no additional course fee. Separately, those who complete the programme but do not feel ready to begin appropriately selected cases may attend the next available cohort once at no additional tuition fee, subject to availability and current professional, regulatory, host-clinic and insurance requirements. Repeat travel, accommodation, meals and transfers are separate. Read the programme information and full repeat-cohort terms.
Current status
Enrollment is closed. DIA is accepting waitlist enquiries only, with no payment accepted. Joining the waitlist does not reserve a seat, create a paid booking or membership subscription, or authorize patient treatment.
The next city, venue, dates, host clinic, full faculty and clinical participation arrangements are not yet confirmed. Clinical participation requires individual approval, including review of professional documents, applicable Brazilian requirements, host-clinic approval and appropriate insurance. Confirmed programme details and enrollment terms will be supplied before a paid booking.
Visit the DIA Brazil programme page to join the no-payment waitlist.
What training does not do
Training does not confer a license, authorize patient treatment or certify independent competence. Independent practice depends on your competence, case selection and applicable professional requirements. Mentorship and remote case reviews are educational support; the treating clinician retains responsibility for patient assessment and care.
